This page explains the privacy choices available to residents of California (under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act — "CCPA/CPRA") and residents of other U.S. states with comprehensive privacy laws. It describes whether AIEmployees ("AIEmployees", "we", "us", or "our"), the operator of Terminal Skills at terminalskills.io, "sells" or "shares" personal information, and how you can exercise your opt-out and related rights.
AIEmployees is the business name under which an independent entrepreneur operates; it is a sole proprietorship, not an incorporated or registered company, and not a separately registered legal entity. "Terminal Skills" and "AIEmployees" are unregistered trade names, and "Terminal Skills" is an unregistered trademark. Nothing on this page asserts any corporate, state, or trademark registration.
This page should be read together with our Privacy Policy and our Cookies Policy, which describe in full what personal data we collect, how we use it, and the third parties we share it with. Where a term is defined in those policies, it carries the same meaning here.
We do NOT sell your personal information for money. We do not, and will not, exchange your personal data for cash.
However, U.S. state privacy laws define "sale" and "share" broadly. Under the CCPA/CPRA, a "sale" can include disclosing personal information to a third party for any valuable consideration — not just money — and a "share" specifically covers disclosing personal information for cross-context behavioral (targeted) advertising, even when no money changes hands. Because of these broad definitions, some analytics or advertising cookie activity can be treated as a "sale" or "share" under state law even though we receive no payment for it.
Here is our honest, verifiable position on how that could apply to Terminal Skills:

Residents of other U.S. states with comprehensive privacy laws have comparable rights — which generally include the right to access, correct, delete, and obtain a portable copy of your personal data, and to opt out of targeted advertising and the sale of personal data. These states include:

The exact rights, definitions, and thresholds vary by state, and some laws take effect on staggered dates. Regardless of your state, you may contact us using the methods below, and we will honor the rights that apply to you under your state's law.
We want to be transparent rather than overstate our controls. We do not currently offer a "Manage cookie preferences" control on the site, and we do not yet automatically detect or honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal. We are being honest about this because the law asks us to describe what we actually do, not what we aspire to.
Because we do not operate a consent-management mechanism today, your real opt-out options are:

If you use multiple browsers or devices, or clear your cookies, you will need to set them again. Beyond opting out of sale/sharing, you may ask us to access, delete, correct, or export the personal data associated with your account. Today these requests are handled manually by our team rather than through a self-service tool — there is no in-product "delete my account" or data-export feature yet. Please keep in mind:
To protect your data, we will take reasonable steps to verify your identity before acting on an access, deletion, correction, or export request — typically by confirming that the request comes from, or can be matched to, the email address on your account. We may ask for additional information solely to verify your identity, and we will not use it for any other purpose. If an authorized agent submits a request on your behalf, we may require proof of authorization and verification of your identity.
We aim to respond to verifiable requests within 45 days as required under the CCPA and most U.S. state privacy laws. Where a request is complex or numerous, we may extend this period as permitted by law (generally by up to an additional 45 days) and will let you know if we need the extension. For individuals covered by the EU/UK GDPR, we generally respond within one month, as described in our Privacy Policy. If we decline a request, we will explain why, and — where your state law provides an appeal right — we will tell you how to appeal.
