This Cookies Policy explains how AIEmployees ("AIEmployees", "we", "us", or "our"), the operator of Terminal Skills — our AI-agent-skills marketplace, open-source skills library, and Agent Playground available at terminalskills.io — uses cookies, browser storage, and similar technologies on our website and application. Read it together with our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
AIEmployees is the business name under which an independent entrepreneur operates; it is a sole proprietorship, not an incorporated or registered company, and not a separately registered legal entity. "Terminal Skills" and "AIEmployees" are unregistered trade names, and "Terminal Skills" is an unregistered trademark. Nothing in this Policy asserts any corporate, state, or trademark registration.
We want to be transparent rather than overstate our controls. In plain terms: the only cookie our own application sets is a strictly-necessary authentication cookie; the only other browser storage we set is a handful of functional flags that never leave your browser; and our analytics is delivered through Google Tag Manager, which currently loads on every page without a cookie-consent banner. The sections below describe exactly what runs and what choices you have today.
Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device and can read back on later visits. A first-party cookie is set by the site you are visiting (here, Terminal Skills); a third-party cookie is set by another domain whose code runs on the page (for example, an analytics or tag provider). Cookies can last only for the current browser session or persist for a defined period.
Browser storage (localStorage and sessionStorage) is a related technology built into your browser. Unlike cookies, values in browser storage are not automatically sent to any server with your requests — they stay on your device until they are cleared. We use sessionStorage only, and only for a few functional user-interface flags described below.
In this Policy we refer to all of these technologies collectively as "cookies" unless the distinction matters.
We use cookies and browser storage to:
sessionStorage and are never sent to us.Our own backend sets no tracking or advertising cookies. The only cookie our application writes is the authentication cookie in the "Strictly Necessary" table below. Analytics cookies come from the tags configured inside our Google Tag Manager container, which — unlike a consent-gated setup — currently loads for every visitor as soon as the page opens. We do not operate a cookie banner, and there is currently no "Manage cookie preferences" control on the site.
These are essential for the site to function and to keep you securely signed in. They cannot be switched off through a site control, and the Agent Playground and your account will not work without the session cookie.

These values are stored in your browser's sessionStorage to remember interface state. They are not cookies, are not sent to our servers, and are cleared automatically when you close the browser tab or clear site data.

Analytics is delivered through Google Tag Manager (container GTM-KZ98N24T), which loads unconditionally on every page for every visitor as soon as the page opens — there is currently no consent gate. Whatever tags are configured inside that container run and may set their own cookies and collect usage data. Those tags may include Google Analytics. Because the specific tags and cookies are defined in the remote container rather than in our source code, we cannot enumerate every analytics cookie from our codebase; the entries below reflect the tags that typically run and the cookies they typically set.

We do not set our own analytics cookies, and we do not use any additional session-replay, heatmap, advertising-pixel, or profiling tools beyond what the Google Tag Manager container loads. Our web fonts are self-hosted, so simply browsing the site does not send your IP address to Google for fonts.
We are being direct about the current state of our controls:
ts_session cookie, you will be signed out and unable to use your account or the Agent Playground.sessionStorage flags described above.We are working toward a consent-management mechanism; if and when we introduce one, this Policy and the site will be updated to describe it.
There is no consistent industry standard for Do Not Track (DNT) browser signals, and we do not currently respond to them. We also do not currently detect or automatically honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. Because we do not yet operate a consent-management mechanism, GPC and DNT signals do not, at this time, change which tags load.
We do not sell your personal information for money. To the extent that loading Google Tag Manager could be considered "sharing" for targeted advertising under some US state laws, you can exercise an opt-out today by blocking cookies or third-party scripts in your browser or with a tracker-blocking extension, or by emailing us (see Contact). If you are in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, the following applies:

We do not sell personal information for money. To the extent loading Google Tag Manager could be treated as "sharing" for targeted advertising, note that we do not currently operate a consent-management mechanism or automatically honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. We may update this Cookies Policy as the product and our cookie practices evolve — in particular, if we introduce a consent banner or preference control. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision, and material changes will be highlighted on the website. Continued use of the site after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
